Osmonds

“DONNY!” I still have a Tiger Beat with his picture. I was in love with Donny, David Cassidy, Bobby Sherman (who the heck was that?) and Tony DeFranco (he’s Canadian). I was at the mall in a Kitchen Shop a few months ago and heard the song “Heart Beat is a Love Beat” by the DeFranco Family. I almost fainted. I just had to tell the cashier what that song meant to me!

My hubby saw “DONNY!” perform at the Hill Cumorah Pageant several years ago and got his autograph for me. He knew I would like it. My hubby has no idea I would flip like I did. He is a kind and patient man, while his eyes roll around while my stupid mouth openly drools at a signature. The flip side was a photo of actor’s portraying Christ with Nephi children around his knee. Those are more common place, right? But this was ‘DONNY!”.

So I watched most of the PBS program “Osmond’s 50 year Reunion” and watched all of the “Oprah & the Osmonds”. Oprah had much better audio quality. I enjoyed it much more. It was fun for me to see grown women (like myself) swoon like they did at these performances. I was trying to remember the song I wrote for HIM. Oh, it’s coming back to me now. I don’t think I’ll share how pathetic I was/am.

I wouldn’t flip like that today for Bono. Or would I?

How on earth did you watch this show and not tell me it was on??? I'm breathing better now that I searched the listings (work? what work??) and saw it's on tonight at 11 PM here locally. And I used to subscribe to Tiger Beat and totally loved Tony DiFranco but I was partial to Donny and Shaun Cassidy. Swoon.

Honestly I think that if Bono and Donny walked into the room at the same time my darling's head would explode.......

My eyes only roll for my darling, not from her drool....

I think I actually got this thing to work....I Sheryl. Since yours is my first blog ever i had a hard time trying to figure out how the heck to get it to work. I loved your Donny Osmond comments. My neighbor and friend Roz loves Donny Osmond. In fact she went to see him in concert a few months ago. She even got her photo with him. Wich of course she has framed and hanging in her kitchen. I had to buy her Donny's love songs for Christmas. I remember his cool purple socks.

Make a Memory,

Shelly
