I am not liking the current quilt I'm working on. The colors are bright and bold and I'm not happy with how they are going together. It has been suggested to rip out one of the fabrics. I think this is what is going to happen. This is the quilt that also took 2 embroidery machines to get serviced while trying to embroider the Salt Lake Temple. It took about a month what should have taken a week.
The next quilt of for Dale and I to celebrate our 20 wedding anniversary on August 1! I am excited for the fabrics I choose for that one.
I am skipping a quilt for a friends son (they moved away) on Aug 25. Because I have 2 quilts due in September. One for my nephew and one for Dale's brother Mark. I am getting sick of quilts!
Glenn is thinking about applying for Central Washington University. I hope this works out for him in the long run.
We are hoping to get Mark into Driver's Ed this summer.
Rachel is very crafty. She just decorated her bedroom with pink paper chains and "thingies" (don't know what to call them, but they're cute) from the ceiling. She is excited to legally get her Facebook account in 2 weeks. I'm trying to talk her into Pinterest too.
Jamie loves DC. She drove down to Southern Maryland and bought and shipped us our favorite BBQ Sauce from Johnny Boys in LaPlata MD. Dale opened up a bottle for Fathers Day.
Dale is so occupied with his job. I keep telling him that is why they pay him the "big bucks".
I wish I could stop quilting long enough to do something fun. I wish I had something fun to blog about. My friends blog about their cute little kids. So here is something from when one of them was little. This persons first full sentence was "I have rocks in my diaper." constipation was a real issue. I hope that made you smile!
