Awhile back 2 friends were talking about what color your personality is.
One of them gave me the book and I took the test. I was about half way done when I realized "I'm a blue hands down." Yep, over half my answers were for blue. Only 2 were yellow.
My whole family took the test. The first 4 who took it were 4 different colors. Jamie and my hubby are yellow. Almost identical scores. Ironic.
I think we change in seasons of life though. I'll have to go read some more about it.

Week-End
Friday
Bite of Seattle was fun. It was great to go with Jamie, someone who wanted to be adventures and try things we have never had before. And to not worry about how much money I had. That was a quick $40 from me and $20 for her, including the movie. We had Goat Curry (sorry Elizabeth), Lamb gyro, sweet rice balls, wild boar chili, lumpia, Thia chicken and a coconut. Loved the sweet rice balls, couldn't finish the coconut milk. The chili had good flavor but was to hot for us.
Mamma Mia! We saw it downtown since we were there. It was a little raunchy. Laughed all the way through it! Gotta have the sound track! Can't wait to go see it again. This time with my hubby.
It was very fun for me to see Jamie adore the city. She took lots of pix. If I wasn't a mom I would SO love to live in a city! Jamie has a room mate who lived for a short while in Manhattan, I'm so jealous. Lots of different looking people with very different life choices. Like the biker with long hair and a Harley jacket. Sure don't see that here in the suburbs, oh wait yes I did, the noise ticked me off. I'm so conflicted.
Saturday
Hosted an Open House for 2 families leaving our ward. Lots of great food. Thanks Mel.

I got nothing
Jamie and I are going to "Bite of Seattle" tonight after she get off work.
Then we are going to see MAMA MIA! A fun Mother/Daughter movie night!
Summer is a busy time, so I don't blog much. I wish I could blog about what is up in my life, but I don't want anything to come back and bite me later in life.

Home
4 of July was awhile ago, but preparing to have 55 people over wears me out, for 2 weeks.
I missed picking strawberries. The place I go only had them for 2 1/2 weeks.
4 of July and the testimony meeting afterwards made me realize how much I miss "home". I was emotional already before the closing song. Then I kind of lost it. The "Battle Hymn of the Republic" can only be song by the "Mormon Choir of D.C." with Daddy. That version will always be my favorite. (I am tearing up even now). After church, with hubby in the privacy of our bedroom, I could finally say the words out loud, "I want to go home." As an A.F. Brat this is not something said very often.
"I want to go home." -I'm still teary eyed.
