Yesterday I went on a field trip to the "Museum of Flight". The class did a moon mission simulation, pretty cool. Afterward we had 45 minutes to check out the rest of the museum. My 4 students RAN through the museum.
At one point my students sat down in a drawing room. I told them that my son's grandpa helped design a military airplane called the F-15. Yawn.
Later I pointed out pictures of McDonald, Lockheed, Douglas. Yawn.
I miss living in a military town.
