I like McCain, have for years. But...
Today I watched live television where our first African American officially became the Democratic parties Presidential nominee. I cried with pride. I shortly later heard one of the news anchors make the statement that "Our children look at race differently than our parents did." In that statement alone it was a quick change.
Today was a good day to watch history.
